Lawyers and Human Rights Advocates Hold Global Solidarity Rallies in Support of ICC and Palestinian Victims of Genocide
The Hague Initiative for Law and Justice announced the launch of simultaneous solidarity rallies by lawyers and human rights advocates in several countries around the world on October 24, 2025, including the Netherlands, Algeria, Mauritania, France, Tunisia, as well as countries in South America, Southeast Asia, and other European and international states. The rallies were held in support of the independence of the International Criminal Court and in solidarity with the victims of genocide and crimes against humanity in Palestine.
The organization explained that the central rally took place in front of the headquarters of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, with the participation of bar associations and human rights organizations from various countries.
The organization emphasized that these events reflect the professional and moral stance of lawyers worldwide in rejecting impunity and demanding accountability for those responsible for crimes committed against the Palestinian people—foremost among them the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, described as a “war criminal.”
The organization further stressed that these actions are part of ongoing efforts to uphold international justice and to strengthen the role of the legal profession in defending human dignity.
